A little about ourselves…..

Courtney, Registered Veterinary Technician

CEO/Founder

I started this website to help those with special needs puppies find a way to get help all in one spot. Whether it’s learning how to tube feed or being able to find a caring place to transfer a neonate to.

The Veterinary profession found me when I was working and going to college. I wanted to work with pets, but was worried that I would be overwhelmed with the “sad” parts. I started as a Receptionist at a small clinic by my apartment. I LOVED it.

Fast forward to over 15 years later and I still love my profession. I became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2009 and have worked at several different hospitals. I have bottle fed many neonate kittens, syringe fed a variety of birds and even cared for baby possums.

Being able to help special needs neonates has been extremely rewarding. I have met some amazing people who all share the same passion.

I have an extremely supportive family that keep me sane during the sleepless nights of caring for these tiny animals. I also have my own pets that help socialize and teach the young ones.

Thank you for being here at the site. Please feel free to reach out with an email TechsForClefts@gmail.com and we will help. You can also find us on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok at Techs4Clefts.

Kyle, Foster Extraordinaire, CFO

Kyle is our East Coast foster mama and the CFO of our organization.

She has always had a passion for working with animals and dreamed of one day becoming a Veterinarian. She attended college at the University of Davis as a Pre-Vet major, but life had other plans.

After graduating college, Kyle moved to the East Coast. She worked in research for a bit and then found a job that let her be able to work from home. This opened up the door for her to finally be able to foster!

Kyle and Courtney have been friends for years and Courtney was so excited to have someone that loves to educate and foster as much as she does.

To all the other Veterinary Staff and Friends

This team will continue to grow!

I have amazing friends learning to tube feed and care for neonates. There are breeders that now refer other breeders to seek out help. Rescue groups that take my countless questions as I continue to learn. I have coworkers that start the conversation with breeders that call into the Veterinary Clinic with questions and Veterinarians that want to help these babies!

I am humbled by the people that want to learn.
